Little update since I haven’t been posting much for months… if not years.
For the past year I’ve been getting back into music, something I’ve been doing on and off most of my adult life. Mostly did electronic stuff at home on my own, never really put anything out commercially so to speak (a handful of soundcloud uploads only).
December last year (2016) I was asked if I was still active doing anything with music by a friend and if I had any interest to give it a go to play synthesizers in a local band metalband. Never played keyboards or synths with others in an actual band, let alone live (I usually just played some chords and corrected them on my computer), I figured I was up for a challenge and with not much to lose anyway, I went to check it out and for about 10 months now been working on music with 6 others as a 7-piece progressive metal(core) outfit.
We go by the name of Cimmerian (recently changed from Perceptions; due to completed and consistent line-up and to avoid confusion with another band by that name), hail from the south-east of the Netherlands (Heerlen area) and have yet to debut our music on stage or in the form of recorded and properly mixed and mastered music for anyone to check out; but both music and livegigs are in the works and happening soon (as in; planned and expected between now and before the end of october 2017).
Current line-up (which to me, is the most stable group of people together in my personal history of being in a band, both from a musicians perspective as well as on a personal level and hopefully will be free from changes)
